Dumitru Găleșanu (Romanian pronunciation: [duˈmitru gəleʃanu ]; born 5 December 1955 in the village of Potlogeni, Tia Mare, Olt County) is a jurist, postmodern Romanian writer, poet-philosopher, essayist and book illustrator. His work explores metaphysical themes, philosophical lyricism and cosmological symbolism, and includes bilingual Romanian–Italian and Romanian–English editions published in the 21st century. His prose also reflects a postmodern approach, notably in the bildungsroman *Mirabile iubiri*, where autobiographical elements and epistolary structure are integrated into a reflective, interdisciplinary narrative.
