John Birdsall has worked in illustrated publishing for over 25 years as a writer and editor. As well as contributing countless articles on topics ranging from wildlife and conservation to science and technology, he has also written two books: Whales and Dolphins and The Art of Western Riding. John lives in Chelmsford, UK.
