Ülari Kalamees is an Estonian software executive and the co-founder and CEO of [Cargoson](https://www.cargoson.com/), a business-to-business cloud-based transport management software (TMS) company headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. Ülari Kalamees co-founded Cargoson in 2018. Cargoson develops a multi-carrier freight management platform for manufacturers and wholesalers in Europe and North America. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer and a member of the board at DSV Estonia. Kalamees holds a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Tallinn University of Technology. Ülari Kalamees is the author of The TMS RFP Playbook, published by Cargoson in 2026. Drawing on years spent on both sides of the process, first using systems other people selected and now leading a vendor that answers buyers' requirements, the book is a guide to running a transport management software selection. Kalamees writes about transport management software, carrier integration, and freight procurement.
