Appel

From the Foreword by Ernst W. Veen, former director of the Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Hermitage: 'This book of photographs takes you on a journey through the life of one of the Netherlands' most famous artist, Karel Appel, to mark the centenary of his birth. But this book isn?t just about Appel. It's also a tribute to the master-photographer Nico Koster, who documented the artist for over thirty years. Koster's pictures guide us through the life of a colorful and rebellious artist.'
