Assessing the national health information system

This assessment tool describes in detail how to undertake a first baseline assessment of a national HIS. The assessment process is intended to be both catalytic and synergistic. It should move stakeholders towards a shared and broader vision of a more coherent, integrated, efficient and useful system.
