Benjamin

**The factory's magic pillows lost their magic when Benjamin went to Italy to hum with a trio. Can they recover the magic?** ***Deep, rich illustrations and a witty text tell the story of Benjamin, a happy man who lives with his parents, seldom speaks, and always hums.*** "…one of the most original and different books to come along this year (or any year)."***--The Reading Edge*** "The rich, witty drawings in this book have an almost European, sometimes dark, flavour to them, bringing to mind some fairytale illustrations of yesteryear."***--Edmonton Sun*** "Stéphane Poulin's gently humourous, offbeat fable springs vividly to life through his superb illustrations. Poulin's witty paintings are richly textured and deeply tinted--gloriously different from the bright, cartoony pictures we often see in children's books."***--Today's Parent*** "Well-wrought canvasses combine folksiness and pizzazz, and lots of the architectural interest at which Poulin is so adept..."***--In Search of Canadian Materials*** **Winner of the Governor General's Award for illustration.**--Goodreads****
