Beverly Almond - an ageless adventurer

"As a young woman, Beverly answered the siren call of service and adventure, leaving behind her comforatble American life to move to England during World War II. There, she found herself at the heart of the Brits' "Enigma Secret" at Bletchley Park--the code-cracking operation that intercepted numerous key communications from the Axis powers. When the war ended, instead of returning back home, Beverly looked around, and saw how much need there was in the Middle East and elsewhere. She rolled up her sleeves and got to work. This is a truly inspiring tale of one woman's commitment to experiencing and changing the world." --
