Do not count on your publisher to accomplish everything, particularly if you are a new author. Be willing to implement your own marketing campaign with web sites, Blogs, e-book sales, social networking, Amazon, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter and e-mail. Viral marketing can attract the public to your book and significantly increase sales. The harder your effort, the larger your royalties!
