Bruce Springsteen

"For millions of rock fans, Brice Springsteen is simply the best there is. His scrupulously crafted albums and sensational live shows have thrilled his worldwide following since the early seventies; with each all-too-rare album in the charts for months, every concert a sell-out, it is easy to see why, along with Bob Dylan and the Beatles, he holds the dubious honour of being one of rock'n'roll's most bootlegged artists. In Blinded by the Light, journalist Patrick Humphries and Springsteen collector Chris Hunt have brought together all the strands of Springsteen's extraordinary career. They have combined a biography with a comprehensive catalogue of all his recorded material and concert performances. Part of Springsteen's appeal lies in is knowledge and affection for rock'n'roll history. In this well-documented retrospective the authors have brought together all the diverse influences which characterize Springsteen's performance style, listing every recording (legitimate or otherwise) every concert appearance, every song written or performed, to make this the ultimate Springsteen manual." --Back cover.
