Chipo and the bird on the hill

Chipo and Damdudzo set out in search of the big stone bird at Great Zimbabwe after Sekuru tells them the story of the bird that guided their ancestors across the veld to the hill. All the mysteries of the ancient ruins come alive as the little princess and her friend, a weaver's son, slip away from their duties to climb the hill in search of the bird. On their way, they meet the iron smelters, the goldsmith, the priests and a host of other inhabitants of the kingdom of 700 years ago.
