David Kapp

"David Kapp has been painting the urban landscape, in particular New York City, in all its relentless pace, irresistible dynamism and precarious balance of order and chaos, for some twenty years. As his powerfully wrought paintings attest, through their gradual and distinct evolution over two decades, his subject matter has grown with him. Working the Grid brings into focus Kapp's remarkable balance of an ever changing vision of life in the city and an innate prowess with paint. Book jacket."--BOOK JACKET.
