Easy Shrimad Bhagavad Gita

Kauravas were 100 brothers and 1 sister. Their cousins were Pandavas who were 5 brothers. In-spite of being lesser in numbers, the Pandavas were always on the righteous path, were extremely strong, were very just rulers following the path of Dharma and had great following in Bharat-Varsha. They were closely counselled by Krishna (God's Dwapar Yuga avatar on earth). This helped them win the war against the Kauravas and establish the rule of righteousness. Bhagavad Gita can be broken down into Bhaga (God)-vad (mentioned) Gita (Song). So the divine song by Krishna (God) in order to inspire Arjun to fight for re-establishing Dharma in the society is called the Bhagavad Gita.
