En Bonne Forme

Ideal for use in advanced courses or in an AP French course, En bonne forme teaches French grammar and composition through the work of contemporary writers from France, Canada, Belgium, Africa, and the Caribbean. Detailed explanations in French cover all the essential grammar topics, French colloquialisms, and many lexical items that are potentially difficult for English speakers. A variety of end-of-chapter activities include grammar practice in relevant contexts, opportunities for small-group discussion, a translation section to recycle grammar and vocabulary, and topics for both guided and free composition. This complete intermediate program keeps grammar at the core of each chapter while providing ample instruction in each of the four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students can monitor their own progress by using the reading comprehension questions, and teachers can check students understanding of the material using the two comprehensive tests provided. - Publisher.
