Far lands other days
E. Hoffmann Price · 1975
על הספר
Carcosa presents thirty-one of the best fantasy and adventure tales of one of the greatest writers of the pulp era - E. Hoffmann Price. One of the last surviving members of the original Weird Tales circle, Price is well known to modern readers for his informative reminiscences of his famous friends and colleagues of the period. With Far Lands Other Days Price displays the creative craftsmanship and narrative power that made his own name a headline author in the golden age of the pulps - together with a new foreword giving Price's candid reminiscences of his own career. From Weird Tales, Strange Stories, Spicy Mystery Stories, Speed Mystery, Golden Fleece, Argosy, Terror Tales and other legendary pulps, Carcosa has selected the best of Price - a cross section of half a century of writing. Over thirty full page illustrations by George Evans capture the aura of the great pulps. Far Lands Other Days is a monumental volume that readers and collectors will long treasure.
