Ferghanistan

"Ferghanistan : the war on police by Jeff Roorda, is the untold story of Ferguson, Missouri. It includes exclusive interviews with Darren Wilson and three of the police officers who were shot in the aftermath of Ferguson. A portion of each sale will be donated to Darren Wilson. Ferghanistan gives us a cops-eye view of perhaps the most tumultuous year in the history of U.S. law enforcement told from the unique perspective of the most visible police spokesman to emerge from the smoldering ashes of Ferguson. The author, Jeff Roorda, stood out through the grueling ordeal as law enforcement's most outspoken champion and a tireless advocate for the truth who challenged the false "hands up; don't shoot" narrative perpetuated by media hype, political spin, and the deceitful chants of an angry mob. In his role as spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police in St. Louis, Roorda, a retired police officer and Missouri state legislator, set the record straight about the realities on the ground in his full-throated defense of law enforcement and his unabashed devotion to exposing the truth about what really happened on Canfield Drive"--Back cover.
