Gettysburg

This lightly fictionalized narrative of the battle of Gettysburg examines the strange fall of events leading to failures of command in the two armies during the action. The mindset of the four major commanders under Lee were to prove fatal to his plans. Likewise, the fiasco of Lincoln and his secretary of war, Stanton, waiting until the last hour to replace general Meade for Commanding general Hooker, would be almost as devastating to the North.
