Girl in the Wild

"For LA publicist Sydney Green, walruses are the key to saving her job and her love life. That's why she's agreed to spend a month at a walrus preserve in remote Alaska producing a documentary--a cause célèbre piece featuring Hollywood heartthrob Blake McKinley, Sydney's stalwart client and sometimes boyfriend. But this accomplished city girl finds herself woefully ill-equipped for life in her new rugged surroundings. Despite no electricity or indoor plumbing, Sydney perseveres, even if the group's chief scientist, Ethan Eckert, is one of the most difficult people she's ever encountered--and she works in Hollywood! Things go from bad to worse when she discovers that spotty satellite and Internet service makes extinguishing fires back at the office nearly impossible, but when Blake arrives arm in arm with both her work nemesis and a sexy starlet, Sydney is soon forced to choose between doing what's easy and doing what's right."--Page 4 of cover.
