Giving It Away

"Giving It Away also reveals that philanthropy in Australia is undergoing big changes because of such factors as the emergence of the 'new rich', many of whom retain their youthful commitment to social justice; the recent spread of economic and financial literacy amongst engaged philanthropists; and a new interest in the concept of corporate citizenship, which is encouraging business leaders to re-assess their approach to corporate giving. As well, charities and non-profit organisations are becoming more professional in their grant-seeking."--BOOK JACKET.
