Gleanings in Joshua

The author of Gleanings in Genesis and Gleanings in Exodus has added another significant volume to his expositions of Old Testament books. Mr. Pink wrote: "The book of Joshua records one of the most interesting and important portions of Israel's history. It is the capstone to the books of Moses, the foundation of those which follow. Omit Joshua and there is a gap left in the sacred history which nothing could supply." It was with this sense of urgency that Gleanings in Joshua was written. These studies in the life and times of Joshua were among the last writings from the gifted pen of the late Arthur W. Pink. When he died twelve years ago he left his Gleanings in Joshua unfinished. James Gunn of Midland, Ontario, concluded the studies. Gleanings in Joshua is an unusually detailed study, excellent for both Bible students and instructors. The clear outlines, comprehensive discussion and pointed applications make this book a source of rich spiritual nourishment. -- Jacket flap.
