Grandma, you did what?

Carol J. Almson's riveting, tumultuous memoir of a young girl born into poverty and neglect who is isnspired to excel in spite of a teenage pregnancy, a brutal husband, a close encounter with a watery death, and grizzly bears in Denali. Carol J. Almson weaves her stories into an amazing tapestry. Readers will be enthralled as adventure follows adventure -- her friendships, her love affairs with women, her professional achievements, her travels, heartbreak with her daughter, and finally her retirement to a small town in the soul-enhancing red desert of southern Utah. In this remote area she builds a cabin which reflects the peace and self-understanding she has attained. Almson's memoir will bring tears and laughter and - in the end - inspiration.
