Horace and Seneca

This volume sets out to explore the relationship between Horace and Seneca. It is the first book that examines the interface between these different and yet comparable authors with consideration of their œuvres in their entirety. 14 fresh accounts by an international group of scholars demonstrate that this relationship can be regarded as one of the most prolific literary interactions in the transition from the Augustan to the Neronian period.
