Ice Run

"Winter has come late - and all the more brutal - to Paradise, Michigan. For the first time since moving there, Alex is taking a hard look at his life. This is what happens when a man long used to solitude falls in love. The woman is Natalie Reynaud, an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police whose cop partner has recently been killed. As far as the OPP are concerned, Natalie is responsible for his death. She needs a break - from the past as well as the present. Alex and Natalie brave a violent storm to spend a romantic weekend together in Soo, Michigan, but they are disturbed by someone who knows all about Natalie. An old blood feud is reignited; one that goes back to a dark episode buried in her family's past."--Publisher description.
