The recognition is growing that the renovation of buildings and its facades, also called the "envelope", can provide significant benefits. Not only does it improve the quality of living and use, also does it lead to energy savings and an increased value of the building. This makes renovations interesting for owners, users and architects. This book reports on the exchange of ideas between science and practice.
