Kath Trevelyan

"Kath Trevelyan loves life. Aged seventy-two, she is a letterpress printer, visiting arts festivals with her now middle-aged daughters and absorbing the richness of the world. Her beloved husband is long dead and she believes she has had her fair share of romantic love: she expects her work, family and friends to fill her life. Now, she is passionate about the splendour of the countryside and the bizarre innovations of contemporary art. John Garsington, who lives on the other side of the hill, feels the same. Though much younger than Kath, he too has a passion for the art and work that he loves, and, as well as buying and selling antiques, he represents some of the wilder artists on the British scene. So begins this unlikely love story, in which life, art and these two minds connect, each becoming irresistible to the other."--p. [4] of cover.
