Ken Adam designs the movies

"This book showcases the work of Ken Adam, the man who has created some of the most iconic and memorable sets in the history of the movies. In chronological order the book takes us from design sketches for his earliest films, to production designs for what are probably his most celebrated films. Adam's virtuoso designs for films, operas and other projects are accompanied by illuminating commentary from the eminent cultural historian Christopher Frayling, together presenting an archive of visionary and inspiring production design."--Jacket.
