על הספר
"Equal parts autobiography and architectural monograph, Margaret McCurry: Constructing Twenty-Five Short Stories chronicles the development of her aesthetic sensibility from childhood - she is the daughter of an architect father and an artist mother - through her eleven-year apprenticeship at the famed Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.". "McCurry discusses every factor in her designs, detailing the excitement of the design scheme, the sometimes frustrating building process, and, above all, her extended family: the clients who have sought her out, her coworkers and collaborators, even the original inhabitants of the sites."--BOOK JACKET.
