Mexicali city blues

The border saga of Miguel Angel Morgado. This powerful narrative of narratives runs through the vicissitudes of life of Miguel Angel Morgado, lawyer, human rights activist and researcher of unpunished crimes. But this book does not follow the stereotype of the black novel, because in the world of Morgado, ranging from Mexico DF to the US border and the Mexican state, justice is often confused with vengeance or lynching. For the protagonist himself, the search for truth and nostalgia for a past full of quicksand and unsettled accounts, are interwoven in his journey through border cities, where crime includes both police forces and smugglers of human organs, drug traffickers, murderers and kidnappers of different ilks.
