Mood Indigo

Anna Carteret’s friendship with publisher Rupert Neville is brought to an abrupt end by Rupert’s father-in-law, chairman of the company they both work for. In confusion, Anna flees to her Aunt Agatha’s cottage on St Mary’s, one of the Scilly Isles, and throws herself into her illustration work, determined to keep to herself. Slowly she begins to respond to the soothing magic of the island, but is dismayed to find herself thinking more and more about Hugo McKay, the much loved and respected island doctor.
