Murder in memoriam

"Roger Thiraud, a history teacher in Paris, never makes it home to his pregnant wife October 17, 1961. It's assumed that he has been swept up in the violence. Twenty years later, his son Bernard reopens his father's research, a history of his hometown, Drancy, now notorious as a site from which Jews were deported to Auschwitz. When Bernard too is killed, inspector Cadin suspects a connection. But why would anybody want to kill two bourgeois history teachers?"--P. [4] of cover.
