Night ship

"Night ship, a voyage of discovery, explores the boundaries of space and time, of identity and self-realization, of gender and sexuality in an adventure tale. Six women, unknown to each other by day, join each other in a common dream aboard a fifteenth century sailing ship. Galveo, a writer, is the captain of Night Ship. Sella, a software designer, is the brilliant and short-tempered navigator. Mahajan, a dishwasher in a restaurant, is the storytelling helmswoman. Nic, a newspaper editor, is the proud and practical mechanic. Melody, an aspiring singer, is the kind scribe. Trinket, owner of a junk shop, is the playful half-wit with a penchant for things. A 1957 globe links the real and the fantasy world. What would it be to have a 1957 globe in the world of pre-discovery? Kings and queens might vie for it, set their fleets at war for it. Or it might be a fraud."--Back cover.
