Of grunge and government

"One part memoir, one part political platform, Of Grunge and Government is the first book by Krist Novoselic, the bass player and founding member of Nirvana - the most heralded and influential rock band of the past twenty years. Here Novoselic tells the story of his own musical and political coming-of-age. From his first steps into punk rock in Aberdeen, Washington, alongside friend and bandmate Kurt Cobain, to his evolution as a champion of American electoral reform, Novoselic's passion, intelligence, and integrity come shining through in this progressive call to action."--BOOK JACKET.
