In 1975, Wolfgang Harich published "Kommunismus ohne Wachstum," the first Marxist work to deal with the ecological challenges of our time. Over the following years, Harich revised and expanded his original concept. This selection of Harich's works maps the changes in his thought about ecology. It presents articles, notes, and manuscripts in which Harich turned to increasingly stronger cooperative, peacemaking, utopic, and feminist ways of thinking. Also included is the important "Brief an Willy Brandt," as well as Harich's essay "Das Weib in der Apokalypse." An introductory essay by the editor discusses Harich's ecological theory.
