Origami 1-2-3

The almost magical transformation of a flat piece of paper into three-dimensional frogs, boats, boxes, and other modular designs is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Not only does this introduction to the art give any beginner the skills to manage origami's basic folds and bases, it presents a brilliantly colorful and imaginative assortment of projects. Each section moves from the simplest items to more complex ones--so you can start with a straightforward box and enjoy practicing your way up to a sanbow, a delicate and decorative offering tray. For lots of fun, nothing beats the novelty models, including a charming Japanese lady in a kimono, a Christmas lantern, and page markers. Construct napkin rings, a rocking Santa, or a menagerie of animals (rabbits, butterflies, ducks, and an amusing cat face). Plus: flowers, jet planes, and lots more!
