Panda

"Three and a half years in the making, this book-length work assembles thousands of fan responses, brief summaries and descriptions of the title character from DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda, " an exhaustive catalog of product tie-ins and derivative works in the KFP franchise, and technical specifications for the AMD Opteron, the microprocessor that powered the animation firm's computers during production. Existing somewhere between network analysis and promotional merchandise, Panda is a poem in the form of a derivative product that is also an archaeology of fandom and the franchise as a commercial form. Now in its second edition, the book includes 68 pages of new material."--Publisher's website.
