Peter Saul

"Who is Peter Saul? For many, this American painter born in 1934 is one of Pop Art's founding fathers. For others, he is one of the creators, in the late 1960s, of Funk Art, but also a pioneer of Bad Painting in the 1980s. Today, he is still a major influence on several generations of artists. This book, 'Peter Saul: Pop, Funk, Bad Painting and More,' portrays the career of a key figure in contemporary art. From Paris in the late 1950s, Rome in the 1960s, and anti-establishment California in the 1970s to the New York and America of today, the life of an artist and the history of our current world are recounted through paintings. = Qui est Peter Saul ?
