This textbook on pharmaceutical biotechnology provides extensive coverage of both the basic science and the applications of biotechnology-produced pharmaceuticals, with special emphasis on their clinical use. There is a strong focus on those issues that are related to the pharmaceutical profession and the pharmaceutical sciences by an international group of authors. One target group is those pharmacists who wish to update their knowledge of biotechnology and a second is the present generation of pharmacy students at our universities.
