Rebels in Blue

Keith and Malinda Blalock take up the side that means the most to them in the Civil War ... their own! This stunning biography covers the lives of the daring couple, who had Unionist views yet helped Confederate causes when it meant that the Blue Ridge communities would be better served. Malinda dressed as Keith's brother for a short time, and both "men" served in a Confederate regiment, before returning to the mountains to become vital scouts and brutal enforcers in the North Carolina campaigns.
