Barbara was a happy young bat who liked to eat fruit from the forest. When ranchers cut down the forest and cattle ate all the grass the bats helped re-plant a new forest by scattering fruit seeds in their droppings. The local residents learn to appreciate the bats instead of trying to scare them away.
