SHORT END OF THE DEAL

Garret Spencer thinks it's a real joke that he has been commissioned to create a sculpture for Parker Bros. Realty and by a quirky coincidence, the founder, Mr. Rich Parker (great uncle to the current owner), bears a striking resemblance to Rich Uncle Pennybags otherwise known as Mr. Monopoly – the mascot of Parker Bros.' Monopoly board games. Photographic proof of Mr. Rich Parker's existence will ensure that neither Garret nor the current Mr. Parker can be sued for Copyright infringement. It doesn't take long for Garret to discover that all is not on-the-up-and-up in the honored halls of Denver's Real Estate agencies, when upstart, Billy the Kid Realty, reaffirms that wheeling and dealing is not a lost art. Meanwhile, Rian has an investigation of his own to pursue. He has been tasked to find a childhood friend who ran away from her mother as soon as she turned eighteen. All indications point to Denver as Daisy's destination.
