Simple Simony

(Poetry Collection.) “I hurt myself, but, I never die. I am a retired libertine who uses words as currency and this is my Revolution. I am here to tell you about an hour of upheaval that lasted twenty-five years—of poets, troubled boys, lizards, and, tyrannical kings. Tyrannical things. And, I am here to tell you that I am sick of immortality. I am Eran Nero—citizen of the world, but, no hero.” Narrating his redemptive misadventures across three poetic cycles, Eran braves exploitation and encounters an inextinguishable f(l)ame, inviting readers on an excursion from perversion to the inner-sanctum of his true person. If heroes are gemstones—only facets of whom we can ever perceive—Eran shows every scratch and crack. Pulsating with a pantheon of classical meter and rhythm revived from the colliding crises of a quarter-life candidly confessed; Simple Simony is the lyrical memoir of a myth unsung.
