Slipware

"In this lively and informative book, Michael and Victoria Eden not only trace the history of slipware and discuss the techniques involved, but also cover a wide cross-section of contemporary practice. The book is highly illustrated with a glorious array of striking images. It does contain some traditional pieces but most of the artwork reflects the current work of an international group of artists." "Slipware offers an introduction and practical information about the subject but primarily it is intended as an inspiration for other potters and a source of visual delight for all those interested in contemporary ceramics."--BOOK JACKET.
