Smarter than you think

“Children possess an array of ‘intelligences’ in addition to their well-known logical-mathematical and linguistic abilities. Although each type – musical, spatial, bodily-kinaesthetic, intrapersonal, interpersonal and an affinity with natural phenomena – is present in different capacities, most children can become reasonably competent in each one, if given the necessary encouragement and instruction. The benefit is that rather than being stuck with a narrow intelligence profile, children can make use of various strengths to attain their full potential and succeed in school and later on in life.” –Back cover.
