על הספר
This catalog traces the history of paper as an ancient material used from antiquity to the present day. Encompassing paper's manufacture, circulation and technical development, 'Stories of Paper' highlights the many aspects of this humble material. The diversity of the artworks reproduced here--many of which are gathered from the collections of the Louvre, Musée Guimet, Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Centre Georges-Pompidou, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Art Foundation, Goesan Museum and the Cultural Institute of Korea--inspires readers to consider paper as a medium for creativity and exchange across centuries and cultures. Exhibition: Louvre Abu Dhabi, UAE, (20.04. - 24.07.2022).
