Systematic literature review shows that the application of Chinese medicine results in a definite therapeutic effect with very few side effects. Chinese medicine applies a strategy of regulation while both strengthening physical resistance and eliminating pathogens. Methods may be applied that simultaneously supplement and free the vessels, depending on the specific pattern differentiation. The clinical experience and experimental research collected here validates the superlative results that can be obtained when Chinese medicine is combined with standard rehabilitation methods.
