Titus Jensen makes ends meet by giving readings from obscure book to spaced-out festival crowds. An author of his quality needs a new idea, but he's washed up and doesn't get taken seriously by anyone. Eddie X is a radical poet and regular on the festival circuit. Good-looking and popular, he can't help thinking there has to be more to life for a man like him. One night, the unlikely pair get horribly drunk and hatch a plan.
