The hidden Shakespeare

From the Jacket- This book promises to reveal to the reader undreamed of depths of Shakespeare, the man. Not only was Shakespeare the proto-type of the universal man, but he was well and without contradiction a patriotic Englishman and a proud Jew. That this was true has influenced the whole course of Western Literature. For the first time, there can be understanding of some of his most misunderstood plays and ideas he lived by. How may we know the hitherto unknown man? As presented in this volume, we have Shakespeares's own Rosetta Stone for revealing himself to the world. Unlike evidence that is unintentionally left and merely inferential, the greatest communicator of the English Language consiously devised a scheme to reveal himself to future ages. The achievement of this book is no less than the recapitulation of the thinking of a great mind in this persuasive effort.
