The hope of the gospel

This book covers the major Old and New Testament passages on the kingdom of God, the development of systematic approaches to eschatology (the doctrine of last things), a historical survey of major trends in eschatology with special emphasis on Methodism and the holiness movement. The book concludes with a discussion of how our eschatology effects how we look at the mission of the Church and calls the Church back to a historic postmillennial viewpoint. - Publisher.
