The material Mansfield

In this book some of Katherine Mansfield's possessions, collected for the first time for an exhibition, are presented along with what she and others have written about them. They show another facet of this enigmatic New Zealander and offer new insights into her life. Here is poignant evidence of her home thoughts from abroad; of her individual sense of style; of things she enjoyed and in which she found succour. Painstakingly put together by the The Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Society in conjunction with their exhibition, this book is beautifully produced and is a wonderful historical record and a gift for historians and Katherine Mansfield fans alike.
