על הספר
The Mushroom Club is an intelligent detective story. Private Investigator, Charlie Kain is employed by Edward Bruce, Chairman and founder of The Adams Research Institute to look into the disappearance of his childhood friend, Eve Adams, a physicist. The wierd thing is though that Charlie is not engaged to look into Eve's first disappearance, it was never solved. Charlie is called in to explore her second disappearance! This is a BRILLIANT book. Investigating this mystery Charlie begins to realise that our take on social reality has been controlled and determined by others hence the title of the book. Most of humanity qualify as fully paid-up members of the MUSHROOM CLUB, that is, we are kept in the dark and fed bullshit from time to time. This book will entertain, educate and turn your common-sense ideas of reality upside down, inside out and back to front. A totally unputdownable, page turning read...
