The Passionate Philosopher, A Marquis de Sade Reader

This anthology includes extracts from "Justine", "The 120days of Sodom", "the Philosophy of the Boudoir" and "Juliette". De Sade is revealed as an enigmatic but illuminating figure, as one of the most radica precursors of Freud and Nietzsche, and as a revolutionary of enduring importance to the modern world.
